Salary Range: $52.46 - $83.94 Hourly

About the Job: We are seeking a skilled Oncology Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at UVA Health System. The successful candidate will have experience in malignant hematology, bone marrow transplant, and cellular therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teaching rounds on combined malignant hematology/BMT services.
  • Prepare, release, and coordinate chemotherapy and other anti-cancer orders for inpatient administration using Beacon.
  • Patient/caregiver medication education through weekday meds-to-beds service with hematology/oncology pharmacist discharge counseling.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
  • PGY-1 residency required or equivalent hospital experience (3 years).
  • Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy license required.
