Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Utility Worker to join our team at Transdev. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily fueling of all vehicles, including documentation of fluid transactions in log sheets.
  • Pull and dump fare box vaults daily, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Clean interior and exterior of all vehicles, including sweeping, removal of graffiti and debris, and operation of hand and power cleaning equipment.
  • Conduct daily checks of vehicle tires for air pressure and damage, as well as checks of units brought through the fuel island for body damage and proper working lights.
  • Move or position equipment as needed, and clean vehicles at remote locations such as transfer centers or relief points.
  • Perform disinfecting and cleaning of shop and facilities, including removal of garbage from receptacles.
  • Complete required forms for entry into the computer system.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Knowledge of shop safety standards.
  • Must be well organized and able to read and write English.
  • Must have a Georgia Driver's License and a CDL with airbrakes preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to perform without constant or immediate supervision.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours or shifts.
  • Ability to work as a team and be PC literate.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this job require the ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, repetitive hand-wrist motion, and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, standing, bending, and handling materials.

The employee will be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and will work around heavy machinery and safety hazards.
