About the Role

Metrie Anderco is seeking a skilled Class A Truck Driver to operate one of our freightliner trucks, delivering Metrie Anderco products to customers in California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient transportation of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a freightliner truck to transport Metrie Anderco products to customers in California.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Assist warehouse shippers in loading products into the truck and occasionally assist customers in unloading products.
  • Review work orders for special instructions and follow all state and national large truck driving safety regulations and standards.
  • Complete documentation for mileage and cargo, and keep track of mileage, fuel, and toll expenses.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Safe driving record (MVR).
  • Ability to perform physical work, including pushing/pulling up to 30 lbs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
