Position Overview

The Chief Security Officer plays a pivotal role in leading the security team and is accountable for the execution and demonstration of policies and procedures aimed at protecting and securing all individuals, staff, visitors, and physical assets of the ABMG LLC community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adheres to the directives of the Department head in executing all relevant policies and procedures to ensure community safety.
  • Provides leadership for the security personnel.
  • Develops, defines, and communicates the strategic operations of the team, including patrol routes and schedules.
  • Conducts regular patrols of buildings and the surrounding property.
  • Trains security personnel by actively imparting best practices.
  • Oversees or assigns supervision of emergency drills.
  • Creates emergency response protocols and training materials, educating security staff on these procedures.
  • Acts as the Manager on Duty, effectively communicating with the Information Officer and other management.
  • Performs standard security guard duties, including responding to emergencies on-site.
  • Monitors and manages the surveillance system with administrative access.
  • Reviews surveillance footage related to incidents and prepares reports.
  • Conducts all duties with respect for all individuals, staff, and visitors.
  • Proactively reports and investigates any suspicious activities on the premises.
  • Ensures the functionality of doors and locks throughout the community.
  • Reports concerns or issues through the appropriate channels.
  • Safeguards the rights, records, and privacy of residents as mandated by state regulations.
  • Upholds ABMG LLC's Service Standards in all work situations.
  • Documents activities in the Daily Activity Report and presents findings to leadership.
  • Communicates essential information to incoming shifts.
  • Maintains confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters involving employees, residents, and the organization.
Qualifications
  • Fluency in English.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in security-related roles.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Education and Experience
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field is preferred.
  • AED certification is a plus.
  • CPR certification is a plus.
Salary Information

$26 - $28 per hour.
