Job Summary

The Director of Procurement and Contract Integrity is responsible for overseeing the business portfolio's purchasing and supply chain functions. This role involves strategizing and managing the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring cost-efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the facility's operational needs and patient care objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish procurement policies.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts for cost savings and value.
  • Review and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess stock.
  • Implement inventory control procedures and monitor usage patterns to optimize stock levels.
  • Coordinate with departments to assess and forecast supply needs.
  • Ensure procurement practices comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of procurement activities to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and safety of procured goods and services.
  • Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
  • Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and present procurement-related financial reports and analyses to executive leadership.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with clinical, administrative, and operational staff to understand their needs and ensure timely and efficient procurement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate procurement activities and resolve issues.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of purchase orders, invoices, and inventory records.
