Job Title: Construction Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team at Goodwin Recruiting. As a Construction Estimator, you will provide support to our estimating department and ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze bid documents and material pricing
  • Generate detailed bid/proposal submissions
  • Provide analysis of construction plans and specifications
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects
  • Identify scopes of work for subcontract opportunities and coordinate with subcontractors
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in the construction industry with an emphasis on exterior building systems projects
  • Estimating experience including performing quantity take-offs and discussing work scopes with contractors preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel
  • Working knowledge with digital take-off software (Bluebeam) a plus
