We are looking for a skilled Perinatal Nurse Director to lead our Mother and Baby Unit at the University Of Maryland Medical System.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum populations, as well as the well newborn population.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and quality of care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and be currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland.
Additionally, candidates must meet all unit-specific certification requirements, including BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM. Professional Certification is preferred.
Three to five years' leadership/managerial experience is highly desirable.
