Compensation Range: Starting at $15.00 per hour, based on experience and availability.

North West Home Care is a locally owned home care agency established by a nurse dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our community.

Since its inception, NWHC has focused on delivering exceptional in-home care services to residents. We are looking for compassionate individuals who possess the skills to provide care to those in need, while also finding fulfillment in their work. We welcome caregivers of all experience levels and offer a state-certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) training program at no cost for those interested in starting a career in caregiving.

Key Responsibilities of Caregivers:

  • Providing companionship
  • Preparing meals and monitoring dietary needs
  • Performing light housekeeping duties
  • Assisting with bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene
  • Supporting ambulation and mobility
  • Offering medication reminders
  • Facilitating transportation to medical appointments
  • Assisting with grocery shopping

Caregiver Qualifications:

  • Possession of a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of drug and criminal background checks
  • Ability to work two weekends per month in a team-based rotation
  • CNA License (current or expired) or one year of verifiable experience as a trained PCA or completion of PCA Training Program
