Job Title: 1st Shift Rotary Die Cut Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented 1st Shift Rotary Die Cut Assistant to join our team at Pratt Retail Specialties. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our rotary die cutters, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate rotary die cutters, ensuring proper setup techniques and die alignment.
  • Inspect anilox rolls and dies for damage, making necessary repairs before each run.
  • Monitor box quality, including size, print, and liner integrity.
  • Maximize equipment utilization by operating at available capacity and speed.
  • Train and assist First Helper and Bundlers with job duties on the machine.
  • Complete reports in a timely and accurate manner, including production data, machine operational status, and safety data.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
  • Mathematical skills, including calculation of figures and amounts.

Work Environment:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and talking, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The work environment is typically loud and may involve exposure to wet and/or humid conditions.
