Medical Support Staff Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Staff to join our team at Chrysalis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, clients, and external professionals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting and accompanying individuals to medical appointments, managing at-risk adults with intellectual disabilities, and maintaining company vehicles. Additionally, they will be required to educate themselves on at-risk adults' medical history, update records, and complete necessary administrative tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate professional phone etiquette, public relations skills, and the ability to work productively with minimal supervision. You will also be required to complete all initial and ongoing training requirements, including CPR, First Aid, and OSHA training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport and accompany individuals to medical appointments
- Manage at-risk adults with intellectual disabilities
- Maintain company vehicles
- Educate yourself on at-risk adults' medical history
- Update at-risk adults' medical history
- Complete necessary administrative tasks
- Meet Chrysalis driving policy requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work productively with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and email
