We are seeking a highly skilled Utilities Engineer to join our team at Kraft Heinz Company. As a Utilities Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing the site utilities that impact and are influenced by our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to optimize utility systems for cost efficiency and environmental sustainability, aligning with our company's ESG roadmap.
- Monitor and ensure the reliable operation of water supply, steam, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Engage and coach the site in sustainability programs through effective utilities usage monitoring, practical recommendations, and focused actions.
- Identify and support the implementation of Capital Projects.
- Manage waste streams generated from the site and explore opportunities for reduction, reuse, and recycling.
- Document, assess, and implement action plans to mitigate risks associated with utilities delivery, leading a team of utility technicians and operators.
- Troubleshoot problems and collaborate with maintenance staff to resolve breakdowns.
- Document and prioritize opportunities for improved efficiencies in utilities usage and delivery, implementing agreed action plans.
- Maintain high standards of water quality for discharge to sewer or tertiary treatment.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, Environmental, Chemical Engineering).
- Previous experience in the F&B sector is desirable.
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement and Project Management.
- Familiarity with Wastewater treatment plants and operation is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet time constraints.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Multitasking skills.
