Job Overview

Beretta USA Corp is seeking a skilled Machine Operator I to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating various machine tools to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate multiple machine tools simultaneously, following standard operating procedures to achieve standard production quotas.
  • Clean machine fixtures and load raw materials onto machines.
  • Machines parts from raw materials to produce finished products to meet Beretta U.S.A. blueprint specifications.
  • Gauge parts produced, using calibrated instruments, to ensure that quality control inspection standards are met.
  • Report errors in production and performance to immediate supervisor.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain work station by cleaning equipment and work area with appropriate materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands

The Machine Operator I will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. The position requires standing and walking for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.

Requirements
  • Previous knowledge of tools and equipment used in precision metal cutting is desired, but not required.
  • Ability to make continuous or repetitive arm-hand movements.
  • Ability to make delicate, highly-controlled muscular movements to locate small components in fixture and clamp parts together as a sub-assembly.
  • Ability to read dial indicators and recognize problems with machines.
  • Ability to react to machining problems while back is turned.
  • Ability to raise and transport up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to move between machines within the station.
  • Ability to keep track of number of parts produced daily.
