Job Title: Per Diem Multi-Modality Technologist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Per Diem Multi-Modality Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing CT and MRI scans safely and efficiently, ensuring the highest diagnostic imaging quality possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patients with a comfortable and safe environment, eliminating potential risks and adverse incidents in the CT and MRI rooms.
  • Maintain operation and control of the scanner, ensuring overall imaging quality and patient safety.
  • Work under the direction of the Chief Radiologist, Director of Radiology, and Lead Imaging Specialists, coordinating with staff radiologists to ensure accurate and complete requisitions/orders.
  • Review acquired images with radiologists prior to patient discharge, when clinically warranted or dictated.
  • Follow established guidelines for MRI safety, adhering to departmental guidelines for the protection of patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Stock CT and MRI room supplies daily and as needed, maintaining a neat, clean, and safe environment.
  • Conduct exams in Epic, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all manual and computer entries.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered or MA state license for CT and MRI.
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in allied health field and certification in another clinical imaging field (such as ARDMS or NMTCB).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification throughout employment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:

Provide for radiologic examination in a radiation-controlled environment, requiring mental and visual attention, manual dexterity, and direct contact with patients who may be infectious.

Physical Requirements:

Require lifting, reaching, transferring, and positioning patients, as well as standing for extended periods.
