Los Angeles, California, United States AnySignal Full time
Space Test Software Engineer

AnySignal is a pioneering startup dedicated to revolutionizing the RF products and services landscape. We're on a mission to empower the next generation of space and defense missions with a flexible, high-performance platform that's easy to deploy, monitor, purchase, and upgrade.

Our diverse team brings together expertise in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, communications, sensing, and embedded systems. As a Test Software Engineer on the Space team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining AnySignal's test and automation framework, enabling the testing of hardware, software, and DSP systems.

You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a software framework that facilitates rapid, repeatable testing of space and ground segment components. Your primary objectives will be to:

  • Develop a core software framework for engineers to write automated tests
  • Implement and scale the test architecture used by Space team counterparts
  • Build user interfaces that report test results
  • Design setups and write test cases that exercise crucial functional and hardware-in-the-loop functionality
  • Construct data paths and queries that accelerate the diagnosis of issues seen on spacecraft and ground segment components

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Familiarity with gathering system requirements and specifications
  • Expertise in Python
  • Experience building software that interfaces with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Experience writing test plans and designing robust, reusable test code with clearly defined test steps and bounds checking

While not required, expertise in architecting scalable SQL and/or NoSQL databases, developing web applications capable of clearly presenting test results, proficiency in Git, and a strong understanding of networking concepts, RF, and DSP concepts would be highly valued.

AnySignal is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse backgrounds. We're committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment where all employees and customers feel respected, supported, and able to participate.

Should you require accommodations during the recruitment and selection process, please don't hesitate to contact us in confidence by email.
