Tuva is a leading provider of data literacy solutions in K-12 education. We partner with schools, districts, and education organizations to bring our data literacy instructional program and interactive tools to teachers and students globally.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in California. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our data literacy program to schools and districts throughout the state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies to promote our data literacy program.
  • Build relationships with educators and decision-makers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Present and demonstrate our data literacy program and tools to potential customers, highlighting the value and benefits.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to customers to ensure their success and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with our content and production teams to customize our offerings to meet the specific needs of customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics related to data literacy education.
  • Attend conferences, workshops, and other events to promote our program and expand our network of potential customers.
About You
  • You are based in California and have the ability to travel regularly.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, or a related field.
  • You have a strong understanding of data literacy concepts and the educational landscape, preferably in K-12 education.
  • You have previous experience in sales or business development, preferably in K-12 education or the EdTech industry.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to a diverse audience.
  • You demonstrate strong relationship-building skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • You are self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • You have an ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • You have passion for education, online learning, and empowering educators and students.
Preferred Qualifications
  • You have experience as a teacher or educator in K-12 schools, with a focus on data literacy or related subjects.
  • You are familiar with education standards, such as the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
  • You have knowledge of statistical concepts and data analysis skills.
  • You have experience in developing and delivering professional development sessions or workshops for educators.
