We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Software Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and documenting new features and enhancements driven by customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and documentation of new features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize requirements.
- Review, analyze, and optimize product architecture with innovative solutions.
- Develop and improve GUI and remote control usability.
- Define and develop interfaces between firmware and software.
- Follow coding rules and conduct code reviews with constructive feedback.
- Leverage RF measurement science knowledge to contribute to design in relevant projects.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience with consistent success designing and delivering solutions.
- Proven experience with software development, building, and debugging.
- Proficiency in C#, C++,.NET, WPF, MVVM.
- Familiarity with Agile development and development environments, such as TFS, GIT, Jenkins, Jira.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic RF Measurement Science knowledge and telecommunication specifications.
- Experience with measurement instruments, such as signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes.
We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $181,000 per year based on experience. Our benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
