Job Summary

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Cardiology Specialist at Huntsville Hospital Health System, you will play a critical role in performing exercise and pharmacologic stress tests for nuclear cardiology procedures. This position requires working with and around radioactive materials, as well as administering medications as prescribed and under the supervision of a physician.

Responsibilities

Performs exercise and pharmacologic stress tests for nuclear cardiology procedures
Works with and around radioactive materials
Administers medications as prescribed and under the supervision of a physician
Maintains accurate records of patient procedures and results

Requirements

HS/GED required; prefer college-level coursework in medical or science-related fields
Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), LPN, or EMT II preferred
Healthcare Provider BCLS required within 6 months of hire
One-year experience in the cardiology field preferred
Ability to communicate in English with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds
Ability to use effective interpersonal relation skills when working with a variety of people and situations
