Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical systems for our advanced drone platforms. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and creative thinking to drive the development of our next-generation drones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for our advanced drone platforms, focusing on performance, durability, and innovation.
  • Lead the entire product lifecycle, from conceptual design to prototyping, testing, and final production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and software systems, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Pioneer new materials and manufacturing techniques to enhance drone performance and sustainability.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation processes, including aerodynamic testing, stress analysis, and real-world scenario simulations.
  • Oversee the production process, ensuring that design specifications are maintained with the highest quality standards.
  • Engage with the broader engineering community to stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate the latest technological advancements into our products.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

Requirements:

  • Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of five years' experience in mechanical design, preferably in the drone or aerospace sector.
  • Demonstrates a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, with a track record of innovative design solutions.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Highly organized and proficient in managing detailed technical documentation and project timelines.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment, contributing to multidisciplinary projects with enthusiasm and expertise.
  • Proactive, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
