Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist RNs in providing patient care, including vital signs, bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Perform specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN, such as taking blood pressures, administering medications, and providing wound care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in providing high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course. Or,
  • CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year Experience as a CNA 2.
