Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in young children.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Assess and document children's progress, identifying areas of strength and need.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement educational activities and events.
  • Provide support and guidance to families, promoting their involvement in their child's education.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education, incorporating new ideas and strategies into your teaching practice.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education degree or certification preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working with young children, preferably in an early childhood education setting.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and ability to transport children as needed.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
