Requirements / Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a high school diploma or the equivalent
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction

Paraprofessionals employed at non-Title I schools must also meet the following requirements:

  • Have a high school diploma or the equivalent
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction

Title I paraprofessionals whose duties include instructional support must have:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Two years of college (48 units), or
  • A.A. degree (or higher), or
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction

We are looking for a bilingual candidate who is preferred for this position.
