Job Summary

The Biostatistician and Research Regulatory Specialist will play a dual role in our Research department, providing biostatistical expertise and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, and interpret data for research, quality improvement, and performance improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines for clinical trials and research projects
  • Collaborate with research teams to develop and implement research protocols
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to support research efforts
  • Communicate research findings and results to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, public health, or related field
  • Certificate of training in Good Clinical Practice within 1 month of hire
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, STATA, R, or other analytical programming languages
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and knowledge of federal legislation regarding human subject research
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of experience in performance improvement, clinical research, public health, or healthcare-related field
  • Experience with electronic health systems and research databases
Working Conditions

General office environment with frequent contact with patients and VDT exposure. Long periods of sitting at times. Keyboard usage with sound ergonomic principles. Must be flexible in work schedule and willing to travel between research sites.
