About the Role:

The Mobile Service Technician is a key member of our equipment maintenance team at Home Depot, responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our light construction equipment fleet.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair a variety of light construction equipment, including skid steers, chippers, trenchers, and mini-excavators.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Respond to service calls and complete repairs at customer job sites or Home Depot stores.
  • Utilize company technology platforms to document work performed and track inventory.
  • Assist with equipment deliveries and pick-ups as needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in construction equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in extreme outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Light construction equipment maintenance knowledge and skills.
  • Experience with inventory management and company technology platforms.
