Overview:

Job Summary:
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will provide operations and maintenance support to facilities assigned to their mobile route. Key responsibilities include performing repair and maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. A company truck will be provided for transporting materials and tools to various sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Building Systems and Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of boilers, heating pumps, valves, appurtenances, and lines used in steam and heated water distribution.
  2. Refrigeration System Maintenance: Operate, maintain, install, replace, and repair refrigerant compressors, condensers, evaporators, traps, transfer pumps, expansion valves, stop valves, and float valves, along with refrigerant lines and devices controlling temperature and air conditioning systems.
  3. Pump Installation and Repair: Install, maintain, replace, and repair pumps handling brines or other secondary refrigerating liquids, including valves, appurtenances, and lines used in the system.
  4. Air Compressor Maintenance: Maintain air compressors, distribution lines, valves, and devices for air control.
  5. Natural Gas Distribution: Install, maintain, replace, and repair natural gas distribution lines, including valves and devices for air control.
  6. Water Treatment and Distribution: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of water filters, softeners, piping, and pumps used in conjunction with water distribution.
  7. Electrical Work: Perform all electrical work and repairs, including maintenance of elevators, man lifts, escalators, and hoistways where necessary.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
  • EPA refrigerant certification.
  • Licensed for equipment operation at each job location.

Salary Range: $69.52 per hour.
