Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ECSI Voice Data Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining Voice Data and Fiber systems for residential and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Testing: Wire and install Voice Data and Fiber systems, verifying and testing installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service skills, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Demonstrate outstanding organizational and time management skills, prioritizing work and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Problem Solving: Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Possess proficient PC and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience, as well as a strong understanding of computer networking principles.
  • Travel and Adaptability: Willingness to travel to job sites and adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Graduate with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Voice Data and Fiber systems field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Power Limited License (PLT) required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit, kneel, reach, stoop, crouch, or crawl frequently, and lift objects regularly up to 50 pounds.
Program Information
  • Apprenticeship Program: Work as an apprentice AV technician 40 hours per week, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
  • Training and Development: Attend class one day per week through the Joint Apprenticeship Training Program (free).
  • Compensation and Benefits: Wages based on the union scale, with opportunities for increase based on hours worked.
