Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our overall goals and objectives, focusing on achieving cost savings, improved service levels, and risk mitigation.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions to obtain the best value for the company.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement and inventory management of all necessary supplies, parts, and equipment needed for our operations and other company functions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Team Member Engagement: Foster a positive work environment, prioritize team member well-being, and maintain open communication with team members to ensure high morale and job satisfaction.

  • Sourcing & Purchasing: Lead the sourcing and purchasing activities, including the evaluation of supplier proposals, conducting cost analyses, and making recommendations for supplier selection.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct regular cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Technology & Systems: Utilize procurement and inventory management systems to streamline processes, track expenditures, and ensure transparency and accountability.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, CPP) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of managing operations across multiple locations and companies.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • People-First Approach: Demonstrated commitment to team member well-being, satisfaction, and professional development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in fleet management and procurement software, GPS systems, and other relevant technologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude for making data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to various company locations to oversee operations and engage with teams on-site.

  • 3-5 direct reports
