Position Summary: The Aviation Operations Pilot plays a crucial role in upholding Life Link III's commitment to safety, excellence, and teamwork. Operating the Pilatus PC-12 NG, the pilot is responsible for assessing aircraft and weather conditions to ensure safe transport of medical personnel and patients. Compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and Life Link III's operational guidelines is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain final authority for the safety of all passengers, cargo, and medical staff during flights.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections and ensure compliance with all operational regulations.
• Complete all necessary flight documentation accurately and promptly.
• Foster a positive working relationship with colleagues and clients.
• Execute detailed flight planning and weather assessments with minimal notice.
• Stay informed about flight-related information, including NOTAMs and TFRs.
• Maintain qualifications as mandated by FAA regulations.
• Oversee the loading of passengers and cargo, ensuring weight and balance compliance.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a Commercial Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating for the appropriate aircraft category.
• First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 2500 total flight hours.
• At least 1000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the relevant category.
• 500 hours of cross-country flight experience.
• 100 hours of night flight experience.
• 100 hours of actual instrument flight time in the relevant category.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3000 total flight hours.
• 2000 hours of flight time in the relevant aircraft category.
• 300 hours of turbine flight experience.
• Previous experience with the PC-12 aircraft.
• Experience in Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operations.
• Bachelor's degree.
