Position Title: Security Support Specialist

Location: Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Shifts vary between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM based on specific assignments.
  • Federal holidays are non-working days, along with additional closure days as determined by the 75th Air Base Wing notifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee entry and exit control points for classified areas, ensuring verification of personnel and visitor identification.
  • Issue the necessary identification badges after evaluating visitor requests and conducting background checks.
  • Perform thorough inspections of all hand-carried items at access points without physical contact.
  • Respond to and assist in security and safety incidents involving employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Secret Tier 3 security clearance.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in a security-related position or similar field.
