Job Description

Overview

GPM Investments LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at our thriving convenience store. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in driving success and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Operations Management: Collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee all store operations, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and activities.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and enthusiastic store crew, fostering a motivated and productive work environment.
  • Employee Scheduling: Craft employee schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient store operations.
  • Inventory Management: Take charge of inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Financial Management: Manage key financial aspects, including cash handling, sales reporting, and budgeting.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a safe and welcoming store environment, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
  • Store Maintenance: Oversee store maintenance, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or other senior management.

Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Access to a car or other motorized vehicle.
  • Liability insurance on such vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and days, adapting to our dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English with basic math skills.
  • Prepared to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Eager to learn and develop skills, particularly in Tennessee and with our Topshelf Manager Training program.
