About the RoleAs a Pharmacy Technician Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the workflow and production of our central processing pharmacy team. You will be the go-to person for tasks, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Train and develop new pharmacy technicians, as well as ongoing training for existing staff, including policies and procedures.
- Mentor pharmacy technicians to achieve and maintain top team and individual metrics and goals.
- Oversee a team of pharmacy technicians working on the floor, focusing on task support and team member development.
Giant Eagle Pharmacy operates two Central Pharmacy Service Centers, supporting over 200 retail pharmacy locations. These behind-the-scenes centers perform a variety of duties, including prescription data entry, interacting with physician offices, and patient outreach.
Our Central Fill facility is located in Freedom, PA, and is a closed-door pharmacy operation in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
