KBR is looking for a Mid-Level SIGINT Enterprise Systems Engineer to provide essential support to our clients, focusing on the delivery of critical capabilities that facilitate the planning and execution of intelligence-gathering operations from overhead systems. This role involves transforming the collected data into actionable insights for various users within the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD).

The selected candidate will engage in SIGINT mission evaluations, capability specifications, and the generation of Concept of Operations (CONOPS), while collaborating closely with Mission Partners. The engineer will assist in customer acquisitions by employing agile methodologies to define capability roadmaps, generate Solution Epics, and prioritize features to align with development backlogs and capability deliveries. Furthermore, the candidate will advocate for agile software development best practices, coordinate CONOPS and architectural products, and translate requirements into actionable features. They will also assess system schedules and risks, lead planning events for readiness and releases, and support agile testing and DevOps verification strategies to integrate new systems and initiatives aimed at enhancing SIGINT mission capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate agile and systems engineering processes to create efficiencies while supporting mission strategy development across various ground organizations.
  • Engage daily with clients and supporting contractors, adhering to established standards and processes as the program evolves.
  • Interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) to provide technical consultation, coordinate meetings, and support briefing packages.
  • Possess a solid understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, emphasizing core systems engineering processes for comprehensive mission and service closure.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience with a BS/BA, 5-8 years with an MS/MA, or 5+ years with a PhD.
  • Familiarity with SIGINT remote sensing systems and the overall architecture of space and ground systems, including mission control and processing functions.
  • Experience in providing domain knowledge and expertise throughout the acquisition lifecycle of satellite ground systems, with a focus on Digital Engineering and Data Engineering.
  • Proven integration and closure experience within the customer domain.
  • Knowledge of the customer's mission capabilities, including SIGINT and Multi-INT domains, and overall space and ground architecture.
  • Experience in assessing mission technical capabilities and system performance.
  • Ability to identify user needs and gaps, propose potential solutions, and evaluate alternatives.
  • Experience in supporting Requirements Engineering, CONOPS development, and system integration for End-to-End Systems Engineering.
  • Commitment to understanding and effectively operating within various lines of authority across SETA, FFRDC, and Government entities.
  • Ability to work effectively with specific IC customers and familiarity with their processes and organizational structure.
  • Knowledge of and experience in executing Scaled Agile Frameworks for Enterprise (SAFE) Agile methodology.
