Job Summary

As a Clinical Dietitian at Northern Light Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nutrition care to our patients and residents. This position requires a strong foundation in clinical nutrition and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and professional nutrition assessment, evaluation, and intervention for inpatients, outpatients, residents, and significant others as appropriate.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective nutrition care plans.
• Provide individual and group patient nutritional counseling, teaching, and follow-up in Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) and outpatients as assigned.
• Monitor nutritional screening and evaluate patient tolerance to therapeutic diets, when appropriate.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, consult with staff, and communicate effectively to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
• Strong clinical nutrition knowledge and experience in patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
