Days
Role Overview:+ Conducts assessments and provides care for patients experiencing respiratory challenges, in accordance with the scope of practice for students.
Your contributions to the team:+ Administers therapies and medications based on patient evaluations, under suitable supervision.+ Evaluates and documents patient responses to prescribed treatments.+ Observes, records, and communicates changes in patient conditions.+ Educates patients regarding their conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
Essential skills and experiences required:+ High school diploma or GED is mandatory. Must be enrolled in a respiratory therapy program, having completed at least the third semester of the second year.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIRED:
+ BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) must be obtained prior to the start date or job transfer date.
