Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong civil engineering background to lead and manage diverse infrastructure projects, contribute to corporate strategy, and foster team and client growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure and municipal engineering projects including water/wastewater systems, pump stations, roadways, hydrology, stormwater, drainage, flood control, resiliency measures, environmental permitting, feasibility studies and land development.
  • Participate in all phases of project execution during site/civil construction, from the preparation of specifications and contracts to construction monitoring, progress meetings, change order evaluations, pay applications, and final close out.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver seamless and coordinated project outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to junior engineering staff.
  • Assist in business development efforts, including marketing to key clients, contract negotiation, and preparing RFP/RFQ responses.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to support ongoing business growth and repeat engagements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering project management.
  • Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydraulic analysis for water and sewer systems, HEC-RAS, ArcMap, ICPR, StormCAD, and other relevant engineering software.
  • Strong sense of urgency, responsibility, and initiative.
