Join Our Team of Skilled Technicians

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Service Technician to join our team at Velocity Vehicle Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality, safety, and performance of our diverse fleet of vehicles.

About the Role:

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks and replacements, filter replacements, and other preventive measures to ensure the fleet's overall health.
  • Diagnostic Assessment: Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles. Analyze error codes and symptoms to pinpoint the root causes of problems.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty components, including brakes, suspension systems, exhaust systems, electrical systems, and drivetrains. Ensure repairs are performed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive/diesel technology is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an automotive/Diesel technician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, and suspension.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, software, and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • ASE certifications or equivalent are a plus.

Salary: $28-$38 per hour based on experience.
