Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Engineer to join our team at OMNIVISION. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for bringing new products from tapeout to mass production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop characterization/testing plans to ensure product performance meets requirements.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams and manufacturing engineers to resolve technical issues and improve product yield.
  • Participate in product definition and provide design for manufacturing (DFM) inputs.
  • Work closely with silicon foundry, imager characterization, and pixel design teams to optimize product performance.
  • Analyze yield data and drive corrective actions to improve product yield.
  • Develop and implement process optimization and layout design updates to improve product performance.
  • Coordinate with testing engineers to develop, verify, and release testing programs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in process integration and advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including lithography, etching, CVD, PVD, and CMP.
  • Experience with inline defect management, FA cross-section analysis, SPC, WAT stability, and yield performance enhancement.
  • Project management experience in failure analysis and root cause identification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electrical testing and measurement techniques.
  • Knowledge of big data analysis and trend chart interpretation.
  • Experience with TEM analysis.
Compensation

The annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $127,000 - $130,000. Actual pay will be determined based on relevant skills and experience, as well as the pay of employees in similar roles.
