Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze network activities to identify potential security threats
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize risks and ensure the security of our systems and networks
  • Assist with Functional Mission Analysis-Cyber (FMA-C) to identify and map Mission-Relevant Terrain in Cyberspace
  • Monitor and maintain databases to track system activity and identify potential security threats
  • Review and provide recommendations for establishing new or revised policies and procedures
  • Analyze network alerts and determine possible causes of such alerts
  • Define and perform vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats
  • Document and escalate incidents and perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting
Requirements
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information system engineering, or related technical discipline in cybersecurity or information technology
  • 5+ years of combined experience in cybersecurity and information technology
  • Functional Mission Analysis in Cyberspace processes and associated mapping and defense of Mission-Relevant Terrain in Cyberspace
  • Information Technology (IT) cybersecurity principles, concepts, and methods to investigate, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents
  • Active Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10 years of DoD or USAF experience as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer or Officer with demonstrated leadership abilities
