Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
  • Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Perform diagnostic studies on patients as prescribed by physician, using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted.
  • Administer therapeutic doses of radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a physician.
  • Follow radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Registered with the ARRT and/or NMTCB or eligible for registry.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology, preferred.
