As a Construction Materials Engineering Technician, you will primarily work outdoors, contributing to projects and ensuring safety and integrity. Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing plans specifications and documentation to understand project requirements before fieldwork.
  • Accurately recording observations and testing results related to construction materials.
  • Utilizing field and laboratory information management systems efficiently for data organization.
  • Maintaining accuracy of field and laboratory tools to meet industry standards.
  • Adhering to International Building Code (IBC) standards for testing and inspecting construction materials.
  • Communicating with stakeholders, including management, contractors, and clients, to relay project progress and address concerns.
About You:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in construction testing and inspections. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A High School diploma/GED.
  • 0-2 years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials.
  • One or more active certifications, such as American Concrete Institute (ACI) or International Code Council (ICC) certifications.
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Basic math skills, including understanding weight, volume, pressure, and units of measure.
  • Proficiency in completing data entry into multiple software applications on a smart device, using Microsoft Office and email.
