Position Summary-

As a Senior Project Manager at Jamail & Smith Construction, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects. This position requires a proactive approach to managing project execution, ensuring that all phases from initiation to completion are handled with precision. You will be responsible for maintaining project timelines, adhering to budget constraints, and upholding the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities-

  • Oversee and coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare and present budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Direct construction operations in accordance with project specifications.
  • Address site incidents and delays to maintain project schedules.
  • Negotiate contracts with various stakeholders including architects and subcontractors.
  • Implement quality assurance and environmental protection initiatives.
  • Communicate project plans and contract details to all relevant parties.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost assessments for projects.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction activities.
  • Utilize computer modeling to assess construction methods for cost efficiency.
  • Supervise construction teams and subcontractors effectively.
  • Resolve project-related issues through collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as required to ensure project success.

Qualifications-

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction is essential.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and experience in K-12 construction projects.
  • Proven track record in the commercial construction sector.
