Job Summary

The Clinical Specialist I will become a product expert and advise surgeons and staff during surgery on all aspects of the systems technology.

The primary role is to manage designated accounts within specified territory by providing on-site consulting, guidance, and assistance to physicians and Operating Room (OR) personnel to ensure product and tools accuracy in usage.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Educate/train physicians and relevant hospital personnel on the use of the company's navigation technologies, associated equipment, and instruments at installations, trade shows, and labs to ensure procedural efficiency.
  2. Work with key surgeons to obtain product feedback to communicate to product development teams for continuous technical enhancement.
  3. Analyze, resolve, and repair issues through detailed analysis and in-depth understanding of the product.
  4. Provide prompt customer support by use of comprehensive case collecting process, ensuring client satisfaction.
  5. Keep abreast of developments regarding 7D (SeaSpine) and competitive Image Guided Surgery products and services through ongoing training and individual research and development.
  6. Support sales efforts by coordinating closely with the Area Sales Manager to leverage your clinical expertise in developing sales opportunities.
  7. Partner with other cross-functional teams in selling the clinical benefits of the company's products, drive continuous account growth, and case volume.
Requirements

  • Associate's Degree with a year of relevant or applicable experience.

  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

The education, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) with a year of relevant or applicable experience.
  • B.S. in Nursing or relevant Biomedical or Clinical based field.
  • Experience with surgical navigation technologies.
  • Experience in the OR.
  • Experience with stereotactic navigation, robotics, and/or other medical technologies.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Understanding of PACS, DICOM, networking.
  • Prior experience in sales or customer services is an asset.
  • Proficient in the use of PC software applications, including Microsoft Office.

Compensation

The anticipated salary for this position is $75,000 - $79,000 per year, with commissions based on performance, and benefits.

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
