Position Overview:
Join our team as an Infrastructure Support Specialist, where your expertise will contribute to the seamless operation of our communication systems.

Contract Details:
This is a long-term contractual role with the potential for extension or permanent placement. Compensation is hourly, reflecting your experience and skill set, ranging from $20 to $22 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the physical setup and dismantling of structured cabling components, including cabinets and pathway systems.
- Manage the installation and maintenance of low voltage cabling systems, including fiber optic and communication cabling.
- Enhance existing cabling infrastructure to improve functionality and performance.
- Assess, troubleshoot, and repair cabling systems as required.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding work order statuses and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation in both written and electronic formats, adhering to company standards for billing, payroll, and service level agreements.
- Transport necessary tools and materials to client sites to ensure operational readiness.

Qualifications:
- An associate degree or certification in a technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- BICSI Installer 2 certification for copper and fiber is advantageous.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Demonstrated ability to install, terminate, and test various low voltage cables, including twisted pair and fiber optic cables.
- Familiarity with cable pathways and support systems is essential.
- Understanding of industry standards such as BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and local/national electrical codes.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, including blueprints and wiring diagrams.
