Salary: $28-$35+ DOE

McCallum Rock Drilling (MRD) is a reputable rock drilling and blasting contractor established in 1988, operating across commercial quarries, timberlands, and construction sites throughout the Western United States.

We are currently in search of a dedicated Class A CDL Lowboy Driver to serve the Chehalis, WA area. The primary role involves the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of various heavy machinery to designated job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all MRD policies and safety procedures.
  • Operate lowbed trailers safely and efficiently on public roads and logging routes, representing MRD with professionalism.
  • Report any equipment issues to maintenance staff promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the truck and trailer.
  • Load and unload equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Secure loads using straps and chains effectively.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Class A CDL License with an active DOT Medical Card.
  • Maintained a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
  • Background check with no felonies.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.
  • Reliability and dependability in attendance.
  • Access to reliable transportation to the home base.
  • Effective time management abilities.
  • Commitment to safety protocols.
  • Self-motivated and proactive work ethic.
