The Brand Strategy Supervisor plays a pivotal role in translating marketing objectives into effective media strategies that enhance the Client's brand presence. This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to leverage consumer insights to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay informed about traditional and emerging strategic planning methodologies and media trends.
- Lead collaborative discussions across agencies, utilizing industry knowledge.
- Seek external learning opportunities and utilize internal resources to expand expertise.
- Monitor industry news to stay updated on developments that may affect the company or sector.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Client products/services, marketing goals, media requirements, target demographics, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with Clients to identify marketing challenges and devise strategies that align with their needs while promoting agency interests.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with Clients and partner agencies, acting as the primary agency liaison.
- Proactively share innovative media concepts that could influence Client strategies and ensure timely updates to plans as necessary.
- Analyze relevant metrics to evaluate Client business performance (e.g., A/S and ROI).
- Oversee communications with HMI Groups and external media vendors.
- Identify opportunities for cross-platform collaborations when suitable.
- Supervise the alignment of Client objectives with HMI departments.
- Develop and present strategic planning presentations based on sound media principles.
- Begin to take on leadership roles across agencies.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in integrated media planning with measurable outcomes across various channels (TV, digital, etc.).
- 5-7 years of experience in formulating strategic media recommendations and managing media account projects.
- Experience in Client management, particularly in a leadership capacity.
- Relevant experience in the Entertainment or Pharma sectors is essential.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on developing media professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team of 1-2 individuals.
- Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics, and concepts.
- Knowledge of media research and reporting tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of effectively presenting and advocating for ideas internally and to Clients.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a keen ability to identify opportunities for enhancing Client-agency partnerships.
- Proficient in prioritizing team projects and establishing ambitious yet attainable performance goals.
- Solution-oriented with a creative approach to problem-solving and multitasking.
- Foster a culture of trust among team members, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
- Inspire and motivate cross-departmental collaboration and team building.
