Doggie District is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic customer service professional to join our exceptional team. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for our pet-loving clients, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for providing top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by following our Service Foundation principles, ensuring that each client is treated with respect and dignity to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Reservation Management: Make boarding reservations, book grooming, training, and temperament test appointments, and schedule daycare reservations.
  • Financial Transactions: Manage cash, check, and credit card transactions, and reconcile reports.
  • Pet Information Management: Obtain and input all information related to a pet's visit, ensuring accuracy of all information, including client and pet information.
  • Team Collaboration: Interact and communicate closely with other staff to ensure client and pet needs and concerns are understood and addressed.
  • Service Knowledge: Have general knowledge of all services offered at the site and be able to provide solutions to clients' needs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist in managing waitlists, ensure rooms are utilized to maximum capacity, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Passion for Animals: A passion for animals and animal care, especially dogs and cats, and a willingness to learn animal behavior to ensure their safety.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to take care of clients' needs while following company procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate directly with clients about their pets.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and be very detail-oriented.
  • Teamwork: Good teamwork and willingness to assist other departments as necessary.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Physical Demands: Physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and to lift up to 40 lbs.
