Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at Addison Group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of organizing and coordinating large meetings and events.

This is a contract-to-hire position with a salary range of $50,000-$60,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage online registration systems, including design, release, and maintenance, and provide training and support on Cvent systems.
  • Manage meetings databases, including updating event registration.
  • Coordinate amenities and accommodations for meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Oversee event registration and serve as the point of contact for on-site event registration processes.
  • Manage logistical planning and coordination of registration correspondence and materials for assigned meetings and events.
  • Update social media platforms.
  • Spearhead marketing integration as it relates to events.
  • Develop, prepare, and present project updates and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and registration reports for each project.
  • Manage financial transactions and funding for assigned events.
  • Research and secure hotels and venues for future meetings and events.
  • Develop programs and operational and financial details for events and meetings.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of event planning experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work independently and as a team.
  • Ability to travel locally.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and event planning software.
