We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager to join our team at Trilon Group.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of drinking water distribution and/or wastewater collection systems, as well as assisting in the design of wastewater and water treatment plants. They will also assess the need for drinking water and/or wastewater treatment systems based on current and projected future population and/or development demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of drinking water distribution and/or wastewater collection systems
  • Assist in designing wastewater and water treatment plants
  • Assess the need for drinking water and/or wastewater treatment systems
  • Analyze various water and/or wastewater treatment technologies and recommend the most effective method
  • Design and develop specifications for assigned projects
  • Conduct feasibility and related studies regarding the collection, treatment, or distribution of water or wastewater
  • Provide clients with technical support and subject matter expertise on water resources related issues
  • Conduct appropriate cost-benefit analyses for assigned projects
  • Align with marketing team on RFQs, presentations, and scoping projects
  • Train and mentor junior engineers
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering or closely related field
  • Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer
  • Strongly preferred experience designing water and/or wastewater treatment plants, in part or in whole
  • 10+ years of experience in public infrastructure projects related to Water Resources field
  • Completing projects in multiple states is required
  • Project and / or Client Management experience is required
  • Ability to guide junior staff as well as participate in the design and detailing of all aspects of small- to large-scale multi-discipline water/wastewater projects of varying technical complexity
