Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Salon Coordinator at Whip Salon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing bookings, and ensuring the smooth operation of our salon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master the salon POS system and use it to create and manage bookings
  • Perform cash counts, keep cash secure, and make bank runs
  • Welcome guests, get drinks for clients, and maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Answer phones and emails in a timely manner and respond to client inquiries
  • Help facilitate product sales and ensure the salon is properly stocked with necessary items
  • Support and communicate with stylists to ensure they are on time and on schedule with their clients
  • Understand and effectively communicate the pricing structure to clients
  • Ensure the salon provides outstanding customer service and exceeds client expectations
  • Lend support with marketing efforts to build stylists' brands and book
  • Run other errands when necessary and keep the Salon Manager/Owner informed of important information

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly wage $18-$20/hr to start, depending on experience, with opportunities for advancement over time
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit

Requirements:

  • Motivated and upbeat individual with a passion for the beauty industry
  • Previous experience in a busy hospitality role or similar (minimum 1 year)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing needs
  • Reliable and consistent with a strong work ethic
  • Coachable and always willing to learn and grow
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations and prioritize tasks based on current salon needs
  • Flexible with schedule and hours, based on salon needs
