Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Registered Nurse on our Medicine V4W unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in gerontology and acute care medicine
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience working in a gerontology or acute care medicine setting preferred
