Job Summary:

The Sales Associate is a vital member of our team at Chico's FAS, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand, providing personalized service, and promoting our products to customers. Your primary goal will be to create a welcoming and engaging shopping environment, ensuring that every customer leaves our store feeling valued and satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by utilizing effective sales techniques, communicating product knowledge, and making recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to visual standards and ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and stocked.
  • Participate in visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, and visual presentations, to create an engaging and inviting store atmosphere.
  • Assist with replenishment activities, locate fulfillment, and other operational tasks as directed by management.
  • Support the development of a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting collaboration and open communication among colleagues.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular attendance and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
  • Constant walking and standing, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent climbing and bending.
